Dual number tabs (DNT) give paired numbering, so the issuer keeps a record of the number applied — useful where fraudulent returns and warranty claims are the real problem.
This is an option applied to a permanent tamper evident label, not a different kind of evidence. The label still works the same way: lifting it breaks the face, leaves the hidden message and adhesive behind on the surface, and the label cannot be put back looking as it did. The option below changes what is printed, numbered or verified — not the tamper mechanism.
