DR 357 Red Overt Tamper Evident Box Tape with Sequential Numbers

Red tamper evident security tape — code DR 357, message OPENED.

Pulling the tape separates it along the perforations and transfers the void message to the carton, so an opened seal is still visible on arrival.

What happens when removed

Pulling the tape separates it along the perforations and transfers the void message to the carton surface. The removed length cannot be reapplied looking as it did, so an opened seal is still visible when the box is received. It makes interference visible after the event — it does not prevent opening.

Typical applications

  • Sealing outer cartons for e-commerce and courier despatch
  • Closing consignments handed between carriers and depots
  • Sealing returns and high-value shipments where opening must be visible

Before you specify

  • Substrate — behaviour differs on smooth film, coated and recycled board, powder-coated metal and low-energy plastics.
  • Temperature and environment — confirm the application and storage range, and any chilled, humid or outdoor exposure.
  • Application area — the seal must bridge the closure and sit flat, not over a fold, seam or embossing.
  • Testing — apply to your own pack and attempt removal before committing to a specification.
