DR 490V2 Covert Red Security Tape

The covert red security tape featured on this page doesn’t have any obvious security markings on the surface, is versatile and TSA-CCSP compliant.

The tamper evidence is designed to function within seconds of application. The red security tape performs well on most surfaces, including difficult surfaces such as plastics, recycled cardboard (without tearing the surface), textured finishes, pallets films, boxes with wax coatings, bare wood, and film overwrap on pallets.

DR 490v2 Red Security Tape when tampered will transfer all the security message and adhesive on to the surface e.g. a cardboard box. After tampering / removing, since all of adhesive remains on the surface, the tape film cannot be re-stuck or reused, and both sections at left completely dry ‘dry peel’ which is an added security feature against unauthorised reuse of the tape. The message for DR 490v2 is ‘OPENED OPENED’ left on the surface.

This red security tape is used on high value packaging where the application of a security tape needs to be subtle in application and highly visible when tampered with.
