Tamper Evident Labels for Fuel Pump Security

Unattended payment terminals are inspected, not watched. A seal gives the inspection something to check.

High-tack tamper evident labels seal card reader panels, pump housings and dispenser doors. If a seal is lifted or cut, a void message appears, so a forecourt inspection can record whether a panel has been opened since the last check.

Access to pump internals

Card reader and housing panels can be opened with common tools. Without a seal, an opened panel looks like an unopened one.

Inspections without a reference point

A visual check of a pump tells you what it looks like now, not whether it has changed since the last visit. A numbered seal gives that reference.

Outdoor conditions

Rain, UV, heat and freezing conditions degrade ordinary labels. A seal that fails on its own undermines every inspection that follows.

Application and inspection routine

Surface and position
Apply to a clean, dry surface across the joint that has to be opened for access. Choose one position per pump model and record it, so inspectors know where to look.
Conditions
Specified for outdoor use including heat, cold, rain and UV exposure. Tell us your climate and cleaning regime so the adhesive is matched to it.
Inspection process
Record seal numbers per pump at fitting. At each inspection, check the number and the seal condition, then replace and record any seal that has been removed.
