TamperTech’s tamper evident security bag tape range is designed to meet the needs of a variety of industries and requirements.
Security bag tape seals the bag and leaves a clear, irreversible message or pattern if it is removed, immediately alerting you to any tampering attempt. It acts as both a visible deterrent and a functional tamper alert, supporting loss prevention and chain of custody.
The range runs from Level 2 through to Level 6, each level adding a further security layer — void and void cold, thermochromic, security cuts, hidden UV print and water fugitive ink. Any bag tape in the range can be customised.

The foundation of security
Void and void cold
Upon removal the tape reveals a clear “VOID” message on the bag surface, leaving no doubt of tampering. Void cold ensures the message still appears at cold temperatures.
Introducing heat detection
Void, void cold & thermochromic
A thermochromic layer changes colour when exposed to heat, revealing a hidden message or pattern. This detects attempts to bypass the adhesive with heat, such as a hairdryer.
Physical barriers
Void, void cold, thermochromic & security cuts
Pre-scored security cuts weaken the tape at specific points, so it tears irregularly if someone attempts to remove it without breaking the seal.
Covert protection
Void, void cold, thermochromic, security cuts & hidden UV print
A hidden UV print is invisible to the naked eye but visible under UV light, and can carry your logo, sequential numbers or other unique identifiers for covert authentication.
The most comprehensive construction
All Level 5 features plus water fugitive ink
A water-fugitive ink layer dissolves on contact with water, giving a clear indication of tampering attempts involving water or other liquids — valuable where moisture exposure is a concern.

How it works
What is tamper evident bag tape?
A specialised adhesive tape designed to deter tampering and provide clear evidence of any unauthorised access to a sealed security bag. The adhesive leaves a visible message or pattern — most commonly “VOID” — on the bag surface when removed, which cannot easily be removed or replicated.
Void cold
Ensures the message appears even at low temperatures, offering wider protection.
Thermochromic
Reveals a hidden message or pattern when exposed to heat, deterring attempts to bypass the adhesive with tools such as hairdryers.

What is Level 2 Bag Tape?
