Tamper Evident Tape for Automated Case Sealers and Packing Lines
On an automated line, a security tape has to run as reliably as the tape it replaces.
Tamper evident tape can be supplied in machine-compatible rolls with the correct width, length, core and unwind direction for case sealers, inline dispensers and semi-automated tape heads — so cartons leave the line with a void-reveal seal and the line speed is unchanged.

The problem
Why security tape fails on automated lines
Almost always it is a supply-format problem, not a security problem.

Wrong roll format
Core size, unwind direction and roll length have to match the machine. A tape that is correct on paper still jams if the wind is wrong.

Too many roll changes
Short rolls mean frequent stoppages. Long-length rolls keep throughput where it was.

Untested adhesive at speed
A tape applied at speed onto dusty, cold or recycled board behaves differently from a hand-applied strip. It needs testing on the actual carton and the actual machine.
What interference reveals
Applied, opened, evidence
The tape looks like ordinary packaging tape until it is lifted. Removal reveals the void message or transfers it to the carton.

62gsm or 78gsm paper construction where a recyclable paper carton and seal are preferred.
